Guest Post: Creating Characters that Fascinate

Hi guys! Becca's recuperating from Lasik surgery and so can't see to write this, but she has a guest post up over at WRITE TO DONE.

Today she's tackling the creation of unique, stand-out characters, so please check it out!

Thanks so much for the well wishes. You are all so wonderful, truly.

The recovery for this is ridiculously fast. I've had no pain since the middle of last night. Now I'm just blurry, which they say will go away over the next few days. And then I'm lens free!

I couldn't find the comment section there, so I thought I'd leave one on here. Great job, Becca!! You're right there's so much we can draw from those around us (quirks) to make our characters stand out.

Thanks, Traci and Katrina. IT seems like such a daunting task, coming up with truly unique characters. But when you think of all the character types, and the different combinations you can make, and the quirks you can give them each, the possibilities really are endless.

Hello,

I love your blog! Is this anyway you could possibly do one of your "setting thesauruses" on the Doctors Office. You know listing what tools he might have. Or maybe that would be in a different section all together...But either way, that would be extremely helpful! Thank you for everything you have ever posted!
